So I wanted to post again, as I have signed up for lots of company's and should be receiving many great things in my mail box, I have made a list of the company's that I have signed up with along with sort of what you need to accomplish to get free items sent to you.

House Party, this is a great site to get some great products, what House Party is, is a company that gets products (from the manufacture) to send out to people that apply to have party's, because we all know the best advertisement is word of mouth!  Now don't get on there and get all bummed out because you didn't get chosen for the first, second or even tenth party you applied to, a lot of factors go into how they pick their host's, I believe it has a lot to do with your location, how you answer the questions when you apply to the party and other deciding factors.  Please don't try to "figure out" what they are looking for and answer the questions how you "think" they want you to answer, be honest and you will eventually fit into their criteria.  I have been with House Party since January 2012, and I have hosted 5 Party's!  Now on to what you could get from House Party, if your selected to host a House Party, you will get an e-mail stating so, they usually post on their facebook page that they are selecting host's to check your e-mail, it will either say "you have been selected" or "sorry" BUT don't get upset if your not selected, many times they include a coupon for the product in that denial e-mail so read through it... might be some great savings included!  If you are selected, you will need to send out some emails and FAST so make sure you have those e-mail addresses handy, you have a 30 min time limit from the time you log on to the HP site, BUT many times they will invite more people than host spots so you got to check your email and get in there quick!  Once you have been selected, you have sent enough invites, your gonna get a PARTY PACK!  The party pack is a box of products for your party, such as you got the "Nerf Rebelle Training Day Party" well it would include several Nerf Rebelle items, coupons, branded accessories, tattoos... if you look under FAQ you can find what will be included in each party pack on the party page.  Now you got your party pack... you need to have a party!!! have fun, take a group photo and upload it to your party page, and upload other pics as well, there will be a sheet in your party pack telling you exactly what you need to do to fulfill your part of the deal.  I love House Party!

BzzAgent with BzzAgent you do loads of surveys, you could spend a good hour non-stop filling them out when you first sign up, then by how you answered the servery, they fit you with campaigns that you might be interested in, they will send you an e-mail telling you that you have been selected for the campaign and you will then accept or skip the campaign.  I have been a member for about a month and received 2 campaigns.  Once you get your "BzzKit" you will test the product and "Bzz" about it on their web site, they have activities that you need to complete, like giving your opinion on the product, sharing it with friends..etc, they will send you a full size product and coupons in your BzzKit.  


PINCHme This site is another one that looks for your feedback, every or every other Tuesday@ Noon (EST) they release samples to try and review.  You will want to sign up prior to Tuesday to get all your ducks in a row with your account with them, I have 2 boxes of samples on order, just waiting for them to hit my mail box.  If you check out youtube for pinchme, you will find lots of people get them and post videos, so you can see what all you might find with them, this past Tuesday (4/1/14) they had some nail polish, you got to choose the color and some supplements, the box I ordered prior will have a GEVALIA k-cup sample and some antacids.  I am looking forward to getting those!  You will want to be on the site AT noon if you plan on getting these, they go quick... you can still get the supplements from this past Tuesday as of today (4/3/14)


Smiley360 Here is another site, I have only been on for maybe a week or so and I already got picked for a Mission, on this site you fill out a profile and they will match you with items you might like to review, I may be wrong, they might just want you to share your feedback with friends, I haven't gotten this box yet so I will update once I find out more.

Crowdtap this is a fun site, you answer what they call "quick hits" (they are like short surveys) they give out prizes all the time (such as Amazon gift cards) and they also do sampling's, I have been invited to 2 of those but still waiting to hear back, they also have challenges/missions, which you either have answer questions, or take pics.

These are some sites you should sign up with, they will send you e-mails at the beginning of the month and in that e-mail will be a link to get free samples (commonly known as "The Big 4")

wow I cant believe its been over a year since my last post, well since my last post I started some new things, I have been couponing, and reviewing products for a few companies... I actually just signed up for a bunch more, the main one I have been involved with has been bzzagent which I am thankful that a mom from  y sons school told me about them, she got this whole thing going!!  from bzzagent.com I have gotten special k coffee breakfast drinks, and Starbucks blonde roast coffee in k cups... both have been great, I was surprised I wasnt sure I was going to like the shakes.  well I need to get back to taking surveys and whatnot!  tha k you for taking the time to read my blog.

Finger vs Mandolin

Also any advice in this post should not be considered sound medical advice, I have no medical training.

As I mentioned in my last post I sustained a injury while slicing a cucumber with my mandolin slicer.   While I was slicing I kept thinking...don't cut your finger...  Great advice in hind sight... well the date was February 28, 2013, when it happened I freaked I almost threw the rest of the cucumber across the room in horror.   My wonderful husband started lecturing me on how I should have been using the finger guard and the box said not to cut your fingers off...blah blah....is all I was hearing as my new problem was if I was going to need medical attention.  So after wrapping my finger in bandaids I hit the web for info... my cut was clean, no attached skin so reattachment was not an option.  Another reason I didn't want to visit a DR was my fear of paying $1000 or more for them to put a band-aid on my finger and send me on my way 5 hours later... for the system is flawed... if this was the case I am opening a band-aid application clinic.... I will make a killing!!!! Anyhow back on track with the injury... I didn't get a photo of my blood gushing finger but here is the mandolin

 

Here is the tip of my finger, and my bandage job.

 

Here is the first photo I got maybe on March 2nd or 3rd, I took off my bandage and cleaned the best I could with out too much pain.

This is March 4th before cleaning with rubbing alcohol around the edge careful not to get it in the open part, just trying to get the blood off.

This is new-skin it burns a little as it contains a medicine but not too bad.

Here are some supplies you may need if you slice off the tip of your finger.

Sorry I have been MIA

I have been busy with life, I had a baby, he is now just over a year and both of my boys are keeping me on my toes.   My oldest is 6 and is in Kindergarten and doing great!  The real reason I am posting is because I recently sustained an injury to my finger while using a mandolin while slicing cucumbers,  I searched the internet to find out if I needed to see a DR for my injured finger or if I could handle my gushing finger on my own, having 2 kids at home and not wanting to drag them to the ER, and not wanting to go alone to the ER, I decided to handle the finger at home.  I will post more in a little bit about mt tragic finger story....I will have some wonderful graphic photos and some non medical information which may help in a similar situation.  Check back soon for my story.

Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge

I made a few videos but am having issues with uploading and timing... So here is what I got... I made some Tags for some gifts I am giving for Mother's Day, the tags are made from die-cuts from the Sweet Treats Cartridge.  I hope you enjoy my rambling video.. I dont think  I mentioned that they were all cut at 3 1/2 inches.
